JARREK MONTENEGRO

Jarrek Montenegro is a Film Maker based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.
Specialising in Directing, Writing and Cinematography, Jarrek is also able to work in fields of Producing, Sound Recording and Editing.

Originally finding his passion for film making during his years at high school, making his director debut with 'Altered' (2016) which he also wrote and produced. Following high school, Jarrek enrolled in a bachelor of FIlm and Television Production at JMC Academy. His time at JMC has allowed him to find his style within Crime Thriller as he began his directing / writing career with short film "DINGO".
Jarrek is young, enthusiastic, easy to work with and loves the ability to collaborate with others as he believes film is not just an individuals art form but a collaborative medium where it is made up of a multitude of visions across all departments. He believes, as a director, He should understand every department, henceforth his interest in taking roles in sound, editing, cinematography and producing.
